Cuff Springs & Garter Springs
In many seals designed to withstand (sea) water, rubber rings are installed, known as cuffs; think of seals for a ship's propeller shaft or in washing machines. These cuffs are equipped with tension springs, known as cuff springs, garter springs, or endless springs. Roveron specializes in manufacturing seaworthy cuff springs made from Hastelloy (C4), stainless steel 316, etc. They are often fitted with coupling components developed by Roveron.
