Leaf Springs & Wave Rings

A leaf spring is a product made from spring steel plate. Leaf springs can have any possible shape. In many cases, the products are stamped from a spring steel plate or cut out using laser cutting.

So-called single wave springs (also known as wave washers, wave rings) can be delivered within a few days if they are not available from stock. Available in stainless spring steel, Inconel, phosphor bronze, etc.

Operating Temperature

The operating temperature of leaf springs and wave springs depends on the type of material. Due to the wide range of available materials, we can supply leaf springs and wave springs that remain effective between -200 degrees Celsius and over +1000 degrees Celsius. For the operating temperature per material type, please refer to the materials page.

Design

Roveron can supply leaf springs and wave springs in various shapes and sizes. Laser cut, set, rounded corners, punched, round, square, anything is possible. With the help of a CAD drawing, any desired shape can be cut. Leaf springs are available from a thickness of 0.05mm up to approximately 12mm, depending on the shape of course. Wave springs are available from a thickness of 0.2mm up to approximately 3mm. A solution can be devised for almost all applications. At Roveron, we are happy to help you find the best solution.

Treatment

Various treatments are possible for the springs we produce, including galvanizing (zinc plating) in different colors, powder coating, chemical blackening, shot peening, etc. For more information on leaf spring processing, please refer to the treatments page.
